Stop OTA update notifications on the Droid

Update: These instruction are for the FRG01B build, if you are looking to prevent September’s FRG22D update go here.

If you are running a custom ROM and don’t want to update to the latest OTA Froyo then you are probably being bothered a regular basis with the notification to update. Unfortunately there is no “No Thanks” option just a “Install Later” which means the same notification will pop up a few minutes later. Luckily there is a quick fix targeted specifically for users of Bugless Beast V0.4.
